Cajun in Kentucky
A Cajun gentleman relocated to KY

Terry Bailey and I decided one afternoon to head downtown and see what might inspire and transpire.  We took pictures of steeples, old windows, old doors.  Shot shots of artistic graffiti, of cars whizzing by, of store fronts and fountains.

But one thing Terry is especially good at is engaging just about anyone in conversation… and getting their image!

We were walking about near the library and Terry started talking to a couple of folks, including this gentleman.  He told us about living in New Orleans ending up here in Lexington. Told us about poetry he was working on. About some of the folks sitting with him there.  While Terry talked, I took a couple of shots.

He was and is quite a character.  Terry still goes down and takes shots downtown frequently, and has taken a number more of him… each better than the last.   It’s fun to have people who don’t mind you taking their picture that have interesting faces with their stories written large upon them.

Guess I need to go follow Terry around some more soon.
